For SR’s 2018-2019 school year, incoming juniors will have to work concessions at sports games to raise money for next year’s prom.

Mrs. Alyssa Moorman and Mrs. Tammy Halcomb are in charge of next year’s prom. This year is the first year that students have to work concessions to raise money for prom. “We have prom concession sign-ups this year because we are doing the concession stand at the sports complex this for our junior fundraiser for prom instead of the junior raffle,” said Mrs. Moorman.

For those incoming junior students who plan on attending prom next year, it is required to work at least one concession at a sports game. If students don’t want to work concessions, they either have to pay a flat fee of fifty dollars or they’re not able to come to prom.
It is not certain whether prom concessions will be a permanent fixture at SR. “That will all depend on how we do with it and the contract with the complex is only one year so we will have to bid on it again next year if we want it,” said Mrs. Moorman.

If any incoming juniors would like to sign up for prom concessions, it is advised that you sign up outside Mrs. Moorman’s door or email her about working concessions.
