The South Ripley Raider boys team officially kicked off their season against the Jac- Cen- Del Eagles on November 21 in the annual Turkey Shootout game. The Raiders took that game with a score of 60-51 to defeat the Eagles and brought home the pride trophy. Senior Dillian McQueen led the team in scoring that night with a career high of 30 points.

The Raiders then faced the Rising Sun Shiners on November 25. The Raiders beat the Shiners 67-57.  Senior Avery Halcomb led scoring with 24 points against the Shiners. The Raiders have beat the Shiners for the 22nd time of the last 23 meetings.

The JV Raider went into double overtime against the Shiners defeating them 41-38. Connor McCarty led scoring for the jv with 11 points.

The Raiders will be back in action against the Switzerland County Pacers Thursday November 30. The game will be at home and the theme will be USA. The boys will also be playing the North Decatur Chargers at home Saturday December 2.

Come out and support you Raiders as they get going into their season. Make sure to dress up for the theme and be loud and proud every night to help our team get the win.
