The 2017-18 basketball season  is now in full swing. The South Ripley Lady Raiders faced the Lawrenceburg Lady Tigers in an exhibition game Monday, October 30th. The varsity Lady Raider came out victorious after 3 scrimmage quarters and the JV won the first quarter and then tied in the second quarter.

The Lady Raiders will face the Batesville Lady Bulldogs at home Friday, November 3 at 6 p.m. The JV will play first, with the varsity to follow. The Lady Raiders will then face the Greensburg Lady Pirates at Greensburg at 6 p.m.

The varsity Lady Raiders will attempt to have another winning season behind Coach Brian Samples and Coach Bob Meyer, after having a winning season last year. The JV Lady Raiders will be following the lead of new Coach Shawn Halcomb.

The Raiders will start their season Monday, November 6 with the first day of official practice. The Raiders will follow the lead of Coach Travis Wrightsman, with their first being against the Eagles of Jac-Cen-Del.

With fall sports coming to a haul, winter sports are in full swing, so get out and support your Raider and Lady Raider teams.
